Right Now I am often asked which Anti-Virus program I am using. I currently am using Norton Internet Security 2010. This Anti-Virus Program is very effective and installs in less than a minute on most machines. Unlike other Anti-Virus Programs the new Norton has apparently taken customer opinion into the equation and has created a program that uses very little resources and receives updates very quickly. If you don't like Norton, I don't blame you. It used to be Terrible.

The Following are programs that I have found to be useful in clearing out Virus', Malware and Spyware. Note that sometimes ComboFix and SmitFreaudFix are given a false positive by other virus Scan Programs. they are not virus'.

ComboFix	The Killer of all Programs, this anti Viral Tool is one of my favorites and yet is also dangerous. If you do not know what you are doing this tool could hurt your PC, however it has been very useful in removing the more tempermental viral infections. This Tool will remove SmitFraud as well as many newer variations of that Virus.
SmitFraudFix	This utility is one that is very helpful. One common virus right now is called by many names, but a common name is SmitFraud. This program passes itself off as a windows alert, informing you of a virus that has been detected. It offers a program that can fix this virus. You are redirected to a site to "buy" The full version of the fix and pay the person that put the virus on your computer. If you pay by credit card, you may even want to call the credit card company and report possible theft of the account number. This program runs best in safe mode/
Malware Bytes	This is a very helpful malware removal tool that also detects fradulent software and viral infections. I highly reccomend this software.
ATF Cleaner	Clears out the Browsing History that can clutter up the computer, and can store some nasty malicious code and virus'.
